Custom Walnut Built-ins with Handmade Tiles

This walnut bookcase and hand-made tile fireplace surround with a custom mantel is one of our favorite pieces. It is a team-built concept with the homeowner, Marie Bauer, interior designer, Linda Constable, master carpenter, Ron Roman and tile maker and designer, Diane Doyle. These pieces are located throughout the house and are a site to enjoy. The black walnut is rare, heavily figured for doors and drawer faces. The handmade ceramics coordinate with a corner hutch in the adjoining room. The drawers are dovetailed solid maple. A combined effort of everyone’s imagination directly shows the beauty of teamwork we create with our clients.
